Meta Taps ChatGPT Co-Creator to Lead AI Lab
Meta has hired Shengjia Zhao, who helped create ChatGPT and GPT-4, to lead its new Superintelligence Lab.
Zhao will be in charge of the lab's research and will work with Mark Zuckerberg and Alexandr Wang.
The goal of the lab is to create advanced AI.
Meta is investing a lot of money to get top AI experts to catch up with companies like OpenAI and Google.
Before joining Meta, Zhao worked at OpenAI and helped create several AI models.
