DS Group Launches DS-Verse for 97th Founders’ Day
DS Group celebrated its 97th Founders’ Day by creating a digital experience called DS-Verse.
People can scan a QR code with a compatible smartphone and look at the sky through their device.
The sky then shows digital constellations connected to different parts of the company’s story.
These stories explain the group’s founders, businesses, brands and community work.
DS Group began in Chandni Chowk in 1929.
The experience shows how the company grew from a small beginning into a large business group.
It also highlights the company’s sustainability efforts.
DS-Verse is meant to remain available and receive more stories in the future.
DS Group launched DS-Verse to present its journey through an immersive sky-based augmented reality experience.
Users can scan a QR code and point compatible smartphones toward the sky to explore the browser-based WebAR platform.
The experience features stories about the founders, philosophy, milestones, brands, businesses, CSR and sustainability initiatives.
DS Group said DS-Verse pays tribute to founders Dharampalji and Satyapalji, whose journey began in Chandni Chowk in 1929.
The permanent digital property is planned to receive new content beyond the Founders’ Day celebrations.
