IPL 2026 Mini-Auction: Teams Prepare
The IPL 2026 mini-auction is happening on Tuesday, December 16th, in Abu Dhabi.
Teams like RCB, CSK, KKR, SRH, RR, PBKS, and MI are getting ready to buy new players.
RCB, who won the IPL last year, kept 17 players and released a few others to have more money for the auction.
They want to fix some small problems in their team.
CSK has the second-highest budget and made big changes by trading players like Ravindra Jadeja.
KKR has the most money to spend.
The auction will have 369 players, including some famous ones from different countries.

The IPL 2026 mini-auction will take place on Tuesday, 16 December, at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi.
A total of 369 players, including 254 Indian and 115 overseas cricketers, are available for auction.
Teams have a combined budget of ₹237.55 crore, with KKR leading at ₹64.3 crore, followed by CSK (₹43.40 crore) and SRH (₹25.50 crore).
RCB retained 17 players, including Josh Hazlewood, Phil Salt, Virat Kohli, and Rajat Patidar, and released Liam Livingstone, Lungi Ngidi, and others to free up ₹16.40 crore for the auction.
CSK made significant changes, trading Ravindra Jadeja and Sam Curran for Sanju Samson, and have a budget of ₹43.40 crore.
