Rajasthan Warns of Voter List Scam

The Rajasthan Police have warned about a cyber scam targeting the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of voter lists.

Cybercriminals are sending fake messages to trick people into filling out forms, claiming their names will be deleted from the voter list.

The police advise people to be cautious and only use official government websites or meet their Booth Level Officer (BLO) for updates.

Meanwhile, the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of West Bengal has issued detailed instructions to ensure accurate voter lists, extending deadlines for uploading enumeration forms.

The Election Commission of India (ECI) has flagged 2,208 polling booths with unusual data, seeking reports to verify the integrity of the voter list.

The opposition has raised concerns about the process, demanding audits and re-examinations.
