Maharashtra Reforms Land Dispute Process
The Maharashtra government has made changes to the Mamlatdar Courts Act to make it faster to solve land disputes.
Now, notices for hearings will be sent by email.
If someone is blocking a farmer's land and doesn't follow the tehsildar's orders, the farmer can get free police help.
This is to make sure farmers can use their land without problems.
The changes were suggested by a committee and approved by the Chief Minister.
Notices for land disputes will now be sent via email to speed up the process.
Free police protection will be provided to farmers if encroachers do not comply with tehsildar's orders.
New sections 14-A and 21(5) have been added to the Mamlatdar Courts Act.
The reforms aim to address delays and ensure effective implementation of orders.
