Anant Nag Says Poor Scripts Ended His Acting Career
Anant Nag is a veteran Indian actor who says he does not want to act again.
He explained that his decision is not because he is sick.
He became unhappy with the scripts and the way films were being made.
He worked on five movies in 2021 and 2022, but all five failed.
He said he was satisfied with his own scenes but did not know what happened during the rest of production.
Nag believes many filmmakers now care too much about money and big collection numbers.
He feels movies should also give audiences good content, information and education.
He said he does not currently see a director he wants to work with.
Nag has also been chosen for the 2024 Dadasaheb Phalke Award.
