CPM Calls for Balanced Development in Andhra Pradesh Capital Region
The Communist Party of India (Marxist) said that the Andhra Pradesh government should build Vijayawada, Guntur, and the CRDA region as well as Amaravati.
A party member, Ch Babu Rao, said the CRDA area has not grown much even though plans were made in 2015.
He wants at least half of the money for the capital to go to the CRDA region.
The party thinks the government is spending too much on Amaravati and not enough on other places.
City leaders were also at the meeting.
