School Thik Karo campaign exposes neglect at Maharashtra school

School Thik Karo campaign exposes neglect at Maharashtra school

A man named Abhijeet Dipke started a special project called 'School Thik Karo', which means 'Fix the School'.

He began it on India's Independence Day.

The project checks village schools to find out what is broken or missing.

He visited a government school in Santuk Pimpri village in Maharashtra, India.

There, he found that students did not have clean drinking water.

The toilets were dirty, windows were broken, and there were not enough benches for students to sit on.

Dipke says every child deserves a safe school so they can learn and follow their dreams.

He wants villagers, young people, and local groups to work together to repair the schools.

He says the mission is not about politics, but about helping children.

The party's Instagram page was briefly blocked on Independence Day, but it was restored soon after.
