Shah Offers NEET Debate, Opposition Demands Answers on Protests

Shah Offers NEET Debate, Opposition Demands Answers on Protests

India has a very important test called NEET that students take when they want to become doctors.

Some people said the test paper was leaked before the exam, and many students were upset and held protests.

During the protests, police used force on some students, which made people even angrier.

Amit Shah is the Home Minister, a very important leader in the government.

He wrote a letter to Om Birla, who is in charge of the Lok Sabha, asking for a long discussion about the problem.

Shah promised he would stay for the whole discussion and answer every question the other leaders asked.

But Rahul Gandhi, the leader of the opposition, said talking is not enough.

Gandhi wants to know who gave the order to use force against the students, and he asked Shah to resign.

Other government leaders said the opposition is just running away from the discussion.

Everyone says they want to help the students, but they disagree about the best way to do it.
