Nashik Kumbh Mela 2027 Logo Competition Sees 3,067 Entries
The Nashik Kumbh Mela 2027 logo competition received a huge number of entries, over 3,000, from people all over India and even from other countries.
Most of the entries came from young adults aged 18 to 24.
The competition is very important because the chosen logo will represent the spiritual and cultural significance of the Kumbh Mela, which is a very big religious gathering.
A special team of experts will carefully choose the best logo by the end of January 2026.
Additionally, the authorities are making sure that all the ancient temples in Nashik and Trimbakeshwar are well-maintained and ready for the millions of visitors expected during the Kumbh Mela.
They want to highlight the historical and tourist importance of these places, not just their religious significance.
The Nashik–Trimbakeshwar Simhastha Kumbh Mela 2027 logo competition received 3,067 entries from across India and abroad.
Out of the total entries, 1,055 were from Maharashtra, including 79 from Nashik district, 1,942 from other states, and 70 from international participants.
The selection process will be conducted by a jury panel of national and international experts in architecture, academia, cultural studies, and visual arts.
The final results of the competition will be announced by the end of January 2026.
Authorities are directing the completion of temple conservation work before the Kumbh Mela to ensure readiness for millions of expected devotees and tourists.
