W Health Ventures Raises ₹700 Crore for Healthcare Builders

W Health Ventures is a company that helps create healthcare businesses.

It has raised ₹700 crore for its second fund.

This was more than its original goal of ₹630 crore.

The firm plans to build 8-10 healthcare companies in four years.

Instead of only investing in existing startups, it first looks for problems in healthcare.

Its team studies each problem for 12-18 months before building a company.

Two companies created through the new fund are Everhope Oncology and Everbright Health.

W Health Ventures says its companies have reached 25 million patients.
