Mamdani Spots UFC Book at White House
Zohran Mamdani, the new mayor of New York City, recently met with President Donald Trump at the White House.
While waiting for the meeting, he saw a book about UFC (a type of fighting event) that showed pictures of how a UFC arena might look on the White House lawn.
This event is planned for June 2026, which is also Trump's 80th birthday.
Mamdani said he wouldn't go to the event.
He also said he still thinks Trump is a 'fascist' and a 'despot,' even though they were nice to each other in front of the cameras.
Trump even joked that Mamdani could call him a fascist if it was easier.
People are talking about how strange it is that these two, who disagree a lot, acted so friendly in public.
Zohran Mamdani spotted a UFC coffee-table book during his White House meeting with Donald Trump.
The book featured mock-ups of a UFC arena on the South Lawn for an event planned for June 14, 2026.
Mamdani confirmed he would not attend the UFC event, which coincides with Trump's 80th birthday.
Mamdani reiterated his view of Trump as a 'fascist' and 'despot' despite their cordial meeting.
Trump jokingly allowed Mamdani to call him a fascist during a press interaction, which went viral.
