CMC Suspends Town Planning Officer After Fatal Unauthorized Building Collapse
A building in Anjaiah Nagar, Gachibowli, collapsed on August 22.
Two people died, and a nearby building was damaged.
Officials said the building had been built without the required permission or safety setbacks.
It had a ground floor, six upper floors and a penthouse.
The town-planning department had reportedly issued a notice about the construction on June 17.

The corporation said he did not take enough action to stop the building work.
Police were asked to register a case against the people identified as its builders, and officials ordered inspections of other unauthorised buildings.
