DMRC Introduces Last Mile Connectivity with Sahkar Taxi
The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) is teaming up with Sahkar Taxi Cooperative Ltd (STCL) to offer better transport options for people traveling to and from metro stations.
This new service, called 'Bharat Taxi,' will provide bike taxis, auto-rickshaws, and cabs to make it easier for people to get to their final destination.
The service will start at 10 metro stations, with special bike taxis at two stations by the end of January.
You can use the Bharat Taxi app, which will be connected to the DMRC Sarthi app, to book these services.
This will help reduce the number of private cars on the road, making the air cleaner and travel more convenient for everyone.
DMRC collaborates with STCL to introduce last mile connectivity services using the Bharat Taxi platform.
Services include bike taxis, auto-rickshaws, and cabs from 10 identified metro stations, with a pilot phase focusing on two stations by January 31.
