Vodafone Idea Share Price Jumps Ahead of Q2 Results Announcement
Imagine a company that makes phone calls and provides internet, called Vodafone Idea.
Its stock price went up a bit on Friday, even though the overall stock market was going down.
This happened because the company announced that its board members would meet on November 10, 2025, to review how much money they made or lost in the last three months (the second quarter).
People are expecting the company to still lose some money, but maybe a little less than before.
They also think the company will make a bit more money than last time, and the average amount each customer pays might go up.
The company has a lot of money it owes, called AGR dues, which is a large amount.
Even though the stock has done well recently, it has also gone down a lot over the past couple of years.
Vodafone Idea's share price surged over 4% on Friday amid significant buying.
The company announced its board meeting date to approve Q2 FY26 financial results as November 10, 2025.
Analysts predict a net loss of ₹6,823.5 crore for Q2 FY26, with expected revenue growth of 1.7% year-on-year.
Average Revenue Per User (ARPU) is estimated to increase to ₹167 in Q2 FY26.
Despite recent gains, the company faces substantial Adjusted Gross Revenue (AGR) dues of ₹83,400 crore.
