Jharkhand to launch aviation courses

The Jharkhand government is starting new courses for aircraft maintenance engineering and air hostess training.

These courses will be offered at the Jharkhand Flying Institute in Dhanbad.

The AME course is a three-year program with a total fee of Rs 6 lakh.

The air hostess training courses are six months and 12 months long, with fees of Rs 1,00,500 and Rs 1,55,500 respectively.

The courses will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Hemant Soren in November.

This initiative aims to provide new opportunities for the state's youth in the aviation sector, reducing the need to travel to distant states for training.
