Google Expands AI Shopping in Gemini
Google has teamed up with big retailers like Walmart, Shopify, and Wayfair to add shopping features to its Gemini AI chatbot.
This means you can now find and buy products directly within the chatbot without leaving it.
For example, if you ask Gemini what to pack for a ski trip, it can show you items from these stores.
You can even check out instantly using different payment methods.
This is part of a bigger race between tech companies to make shopping easier with AI.
Right now, it's only available in the U.S., but Google plans to expand it to other countries soon.
Other companies like OpenAI and Amazon are also working on similar features for their chatbots.
Google also introduced a new standard called UCP to make AI shopping smoother and more secure.
