Clashes in Manipur After Youths Detained Over Vandalism

Some people in Manipur got angry and started protesting after police held some youths for damaging banners for PM Modi's visit.

The youths were accused of vandalizing welcome banners that were put up for the Prime Minister's visit.

The protesters gathered near a police station, and the situation became tense, with stone-throwing.

Eventually, the police released the detained individuals.

This happened shortly after PM Modi visited Manipur for the first time since ethnic clashes between Kukis and Meiteis began.
