Imperial Blue Whisky Sales Surge Under Tilaknagar Industries
Tilaknagar Industries, which recently bought the Imperial Blue Whisky brand, saw a big success in its first month.
They sold 1.79 million cases of Imperial Blue in December 2025.
This helped them become a major player in the Indian alcohol market, especially in South India.
They also have other popular brands like Mansion House Brandy and Blue Lagoon Gin.
The company plans to keep growing by making their operations more efficient and expanding their market reach.
Imperial Blue Whisky recorded 1.79 million cases in primary sales in December 2025, its first month under Tilaknagar Industries.
Tilaknagar Industries acquired Imperial Blue from Pernod Ricard India for ₹3,442.34 crore, with an additional €28 million due in 2029.
TI's total primary sales (excluding Imperial Blue) were 1.30 million cases in December 2025.
TI became the second-largest national player in South India with a 9.7% market share and the largest in the Prestige & Above segment with a 32% market share.
TI strengthened its leadership in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and Karnataka, achieving significant market shares in both overall and P&A segments.
