CPI Protests Demand Water Solutions in Alur

CPI Protests Demand Water Solutions in Alur

The Communist Party of India (CPI) held a big protest in Alur constituency, Kurnool district, to ask the government to do something about the lack of drinking water and water for farms.

They want the Vedavathi Project to be finished quickly because many people are suffering from drought.

They also want the government to fill up the local water tanks using the Handri–Neeva canal.

This would help the groundwater and make sure farmers have enough water for their crops.

The CPI leaders said that if the government doesn't act soon, things will get worse for the people living there.

Many farmers and local residents joined the protest to show their support.
