BJP Demands Revanth Reddy's Resignation Over Fee Reimbursement
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Telangana is demanding the resignation of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy over unpaid fee reimbursement dues.
They claim that nearly 20 lakh students are affected because their certificates are withheld due to the pending dues of Rs 12,000 crore.
BJP leader N. Ramchander Rao says Revanth Reddy should either pay the dues within a week or step down as Education Minister.
The BJP also criticized Revanth Reddy for leading protests in Delhi instead of addressing the fee reimbursement issue.
Meanwhile, BJP MP D.K. Aruna alleged that the Congress party is instigating youth to ridicule the nation's reputation and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
She claimed that the Centre took necessary measures to protect students' interests following the NEET paper leak.
