Google Launches 2026 Play Accelerator for 20 Indian AI Startups
Google announced a new program called Play Accelerator India for 2026.
It will help 20 Indian startups that use artificial intelligence to make better apps.
The program lasts three months and does not take any money from the startups.
Google will give them advice on how to use AI, make their apps safer, grow their user base, and earn money.
The startups come from many fields like health, farming, games, and shopping.
Google hopes this will help them reach users in India and around the world.
Google announced its 2026 Play Accelerator India cohort, selecting 20 AI‑powered startups across diverse sectors.
The three‑month, equity‑free program offers hands‑on support in AI integration, product quality, security, growth and monetisation.
Startups will receive mentorship from Google Play and the broader Google ecosystem to build scalable, globally relevant apps.
The cohort includes companies such as Chaupal, ChennaiGames, Dalvoy, Frontier Markets, GAPE Labs, and others.
Google aims to help startups improve product quality, expand user reach, and explore global markets through AI‑led innovation.
