Businessman Kidnapped, Extortion Attempt in Nagaland; Three Arrested
A 66-year-old businessman was tricked into going to Dimapur, Nagaland.
Once there, people grabbed him and wanted a lot of money, Rs 1.5 crore, to let him go.
They had said there was money to be made in land deals.
The businessman was hurt and told he'd be killed if he didn't pay up.
Police then found the people responsible and arrested them.
Businessman from Thane district was kidnapped.
He was lured to Dimapur, Nagaland, on May 28th.
Kidnappers demanded Rs 1.5 crore as extortion money.
The victim was assaulted and threatened with death.
Three individuals were arrested in Nagaland.
