BMC Floats Rs 129 Crore Tenders for Express Highway Resurfacing

The BMC in Mumbai has announced two big projects to improve the city's roads.

First, they are spending Rs 129 crore to fix parts of the Western and Eastern Express Highways using a special technique called micro-surfacing.

This will make the roads smoother and last longer.

The work will cover about 15.4 km of roads and is expected to take a year to finish.

Second, they are building a new 1.33 km flyover with special loops to connect Nahur and Airoli, costing Rs 1,293 crore.

This flyover will help reduce traffic congestion and provide smooth, signal-free travel in four directions.

The BMC says these projects will make driving in Mumbai much better.
