Rs 304 crore highway to link Kopparthy Industrial Area

The government approved money to build a new road near Kadapa in Andhra Pradesh.

The road will connect Kopparthy Industrial Area with the Kadapa Bypass.

It will be 5.8 kilometres long and have four lanes.

The road will also include bridges, underpasses and a special interchange.

The existing Kadapa Bypass will receive paved shoulders.

Officials expect the project to help trucks travel more smoothly.

It may also reduce traffic on roads inside Kadapa.

Kopparthy is an industrial area being developed along the Visakhapatnam-Chennai Industrial Corridor.
