Haryana Launches Digital Census 2027 Roadmap
Haryana is getting ready for a big count of all its people in 2027.
This time, everything will be done using computers and phones, which is a big change from before.
Special people called enumerators will go around and ask questions to everyone, and they will put all the answers into a big computer system.
The government has already picked many officers to help with this big job.
They will make sure that everyone is counted, even in special places like military areas.
The government is also going to teach the enumerators how to use the new digital tools.
They want to make sure everything is done quickly, safely, and without any paper.
Haryana's Census 2027 will be conducted entirely in digital mode, marking a significant shift from traditional methods.
Enumerators and supervisors will use mobile apps and a portal to collect and submit data in multiple languages.
A hierarchical structure of officers has been appointed to oversee the census at divisional, district, sub-divisional, and block levels.
Special provisions are made for areas under military, paramilitary, and government control, with designated officers for these regions.
Training for enumerators and supervisors will begin early next year, accompanied by public awareness campaigns and the release of new mobile applications.
