PM Modi Inaugurates New Chhattisgarh Assembly Building
Chhattisgarh is celebrating 25 years of being a state, and on its birthday, November 1, the Prime Minister is opening a brand new building for its government to meet in.
This new building is very special because it's designed to look like Chhattisgarh's culture, with decorations showing rice, which the state is known for.
Artisans from a local area called Bastar helped make the furniture and doors.
It's also a modern building with computers and screens so everything can be done without paper, making it a "smart assembly."
It even has solar panels to make electricity and systems to collect rainwater, making it good for the environment.
The building is big enough for many people to work in and has a special hall for important discussions and a large auditorium for events.
It represents the dreams of everyone in Chhattisgarh and will be a place where their voices can shape the future of their state.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate Chhattisgarh's new Legislative Assembly building on November 1, coinciding with the state's 25th anniversary.
The new Assembly complex in Raipur was built on 51 acres at a cost of ₹324 crore.
The architecture incorporates traditional elements like paddy motifs and Bastar artisan craftsmanship, reflecting Chhattisgarh's cultural identity.
The building features a fully digital infrastructure for paperless proceedings and includes eco-friendly systems like solar power and rainwater harvesting.
The main chamber is designed to accommodate up to 200 members, and the complex includes a 500-seat auditorium and a Central Hall for discussions.
