Telangana HC Orders Status Quo on Azad Institute
The Telangana High Court has told the government not to change anything at the Abul Kalam Azad Oriental Research Institute, which is next to a mosque in Hyderabad.
The building was sealed by the minorities welfare department, but the court wants to keep it safe until the next hearing.
The court is looking at a complaint about a notice that said the building could be used for prayers during Ramzan.
The institute has old books and important things inside that need to be protected.
The court also mentioned a news report that said the department didn't follow the right steps when they issued the notice.
The institute has been around since 1959 and is very old and important.
Telangana High Court issued status quo orders against sealing the Abul Kalam Azad Oriental Research Institute.

The writ petition was filed by Syed Iftekhar Hussaini challenging the memo issued on January 23 for using the premises for Namaz during Ramzan.
