Charge Sheet Filed Against Bagidora MLA in Bribe Case
Imagine a lawmaker, like a superhero who makes laws, was caught taking money.
The Anti-Corruption Bureau, or ACB, is like the police for bad deeds in government.
They said a lawmaker, Jai Krishna Patel, took money to make certain questions about mining disappear.
It's like he was paid to keep quiet!
The ACB filed a report, and it’s the first time this has happened in the area, which shows the importance of fighting corruption.
ACB filed a charge sheet against Bagidora MLA Jai Krishna Patel in a Rs 20 lakh bribe case.
The charge sheet also names Patel's cousin Vijay and two others.
The bribe was allegedly taken for dropping three assembly questions related to mining affairs.
The deal involved a total bribe of Rs 2.5 crore, with Rs 20 lakh paid as the first installment.
