Copper Concentrate Exports to China Revived via Concor's Naya Rajpur MMLP
Big trucks and trains are moving a special type of rock called copper concentrate from where it's found in India to a place with special shipping services.
From there, it's being sent to China on a big boat.
This is happening again after a long time because the world is trading more.
This helps businesses in India and makes it easier to send their products to other countries.
The company that finds the copper is sending it, and another company is helping to move it through special ports.
They plan to send a lot of this copper by the end of next year.
Copper concentrate exports to China have resumed via Concor's Naya Rajpur MMLP after a five-year suspension.
The first shipment of 12,000 tonnes departed on a Concor rake to Visakhapatnam Port.
Hindustan Copper Ltd (HCL) is the state-owned company responsible for mining and exporting the concentrate.
MMLP Naya Raipur serves as a crucial logistics link for mineral exports from Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.
The entire export volume is projected to be completed by December 2025.
