Chiranjeevi Films Could Clash During Sankranthi 2027 Release Season
Chiranjeevi has two films that could release around the same festival.
Kaaka already has a confirmed date: January 13, 2027.
It is directed by Bobby Kolli and is described as an action entertainer.
Vishwambhara is another Chiranjeevi film, but its release date is not yet certain.
The film has reportedly been delayed because its visual effects are taking time.
Some industry reports say it may also aim for the Sankranthi holiday period.
If both films arrive then, they would compete with each other.
Sankranthi is an important time for Telugu films because many people go to theaters.
A similar same-day clash previously involved Balakrishna’s Nippu Ravva and Bangaru Bullodu.
More official information is needed to know whether history will repeat itself.
Kaaka has officially announced a worldwide release on January 13, 2027.
The action entertainer reunites Chiranjeevi with director Bobby Kolli after Waltair Veerayya.
Vishwambhara, a socio-fantasy adventure, has faced delays linked mainly to extensive VFX work.
Industry sources say Vishwambhara may target the Sankranthi 2027 window, but no official confirmation exists.
A simultaneous release would create the unusual possibility of two Chiranjeevi films competing during the same festival season.
