BJP Says Section 22A Land Protest Is Only Beginning

The BJP is planning a protest about land placed on a government list called Section 22A.

This list can make it difficult for people to deal with their land.

BJP leaders say farmers and other landowners were affected unfairly.

Alleti Maheshwar Reddy called Saturday’s protest the start of a bigger campaign.

Etala Rajender said the list grew from 16 lakh acres to 80 lakh acres.

He also said some apartments, colonies and old farmland were added without telling people.

BJP lawmakers planned to fast during the protest.

They said the campaign will continue until the affected lands are taken off the list.
