Waltair DRM Inspects Koraput Line for Safety and Amenities
Imagine the railway manager is like a principal checking on a school.
He went to different train stations on the Koraput line to see if everything was safe and good for people.
He looked at the train tracks, the signal lights, and the buildings where people wait for trains.
He also checked on the homes and facilities for the railway workers.
At one gate, he even talked to the person in charge to make sure they were following safety rules.
The goal was to find out what needs to be fixed or made better for both passengers and the people who work for the railway.
Waltair Divisional Railway Manager Lalit Bohra inspected the Silakjhori–Jagdalpur–Koraput section of the KK line.
The inspection focused on infrastructure upgrades, safety protocols, and passenger amenities.
DRM Bohra reviewed station yards, railway colonies, level crossing gates, and signaling systems.
Discussions were held to improve station facilities, living conditions in railway colonies, and overall service delivery.
The DRM interacted with staff and residents to understand grievances and identify areas for improvement.
