Goa Receives Rs 383 Crore in Central Grants for Tourism Projects
Imagine Goa, a beautiful place, got a bunch of money from the government to make things even better for tourists!
Over the last eight years, they received about 383 crore rupees.
This money is being used for many projects.
They are building up beaches like Sinquerim and Colva, making the area around an old church called Bom Jesus Basilica nicer, and creating a 'Unity Mall'.
They also plan to build a Town Square and a museum dedicated to a famous person named Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
It's all to make Goa an even more attractive place for visitors!
Goa received Rs 383.20 crore in central grants over eight years for tourism projects.
Funds were allocated between March 2017 and June 2025.
Grants include development of Coastal Circuits, infrastructure around Bom Jesus Basilica, and Colva beach.
Rs 50 crore was allocated for a 'Unity Mall' project.
The state proposed projects including a Town Square and a Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj museum.
