Dog in China waits daily for deceased owner

There was a dog named Ah Wang who lived with his owner, Gao, in Shanghai, China.

Gao took care of Ah Wang for about 10 years.

Unfortunately, Gao passed away suddenly on December 11th.

After Gao's death, Ah Wang would sit outside the apartment every day, waiting for his owner to come back.

The neighbors loved Ah Wang and tried to take care of him, but he refused to eat or drink and would run away if anyone tried to pet him.

On January 6th, Ah Wang disappeared, and the neighbors were worried about him.

They searched for him and shared his story on social media.

Finally, on January 8th, a kind woman found Ah Wang hiding in a grassy area.

He looked very sad and was trembling.

The woman took him to the residential committee office, where he was fed and taken care of.

It's believed that Ah Wang was very sad and traumatized after his owner's death.
