Jurel's Unbeaten Century Puts India In Command In Colombo

Dhruv Jurel played a very important innings for India in Colombo.

He scored 115 runs without being dismissed.

This was his second century in Test cricket.

Jurel and Rishabh Pant made a strong partnership, and Pant scored 63 runs.

Rain made Jurel wait before he could finish his century.

India declared their innings at 503 runs for nine wickets.

India then took two Sri Lankan wickets before bad light and rain stopped much of the bowling.

Sri Lanka was still 495 runs behind, so India was in a very strong position.
