Arsenal sign Bruno Guimaraes from Newcastle for £75 million

A famous football player named Bruno Guimaraes has moved from Newcastle United to Arsenal, another big English club.

Arsenal paid a huge amount of money, around £75 million, to bring him to their team.

Bruno is 28 years old and plays in the middle of the field, helping both the defenders and the attackers.

He was the captain of Newcastle and played there for about four and a half years, making nearly 200 appearances (some reports say more than 150).

During that time, he helped Newcastle win a trophy called the Carabao Cup in 2025.

Bruno also plays for Brazil's national team and won a gold medal at the Olympics in Tokyo.

He said leaving Newcastle was one of the toughest decisions of his life because he loves the club and its fans.

But he said he felt ready for a new challenge and was very excited to join Arsenal.

Arsenal hope he will make their midfield even stronger, and he will wear the number 39 shirt at his new club.
