Yash's Toxic Teaser Sparks Legal Controversy
A new teaser for the movie Toxic, starring Yash and Kiara Advani, has caused a big discussion.
Some people think the teaser shows scenes that are too bold and inappropriate, especially for women and children.
A social activist and the Aam Aadmi Party’s Women’s Wing complained to the Central Board of Film Certification and the Karnataka State Women’s Commission, saying the scenes are obscene and insult Kannada culture.
On the other hand, some fans support Yash, saying actors need to do intense scenes for their roles.
People are debating whether Yash has changed his views or if he is just doing what the role requires.
The debate will likely continue until the movie comes out on March 19.
Actor Yash's film 'Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups' faces legal controversy over its teaser.
Social activist Dinesh Kallahalli and AAP’s Women’s Wing filed complaints citing obscene and explicit content.
The teaser is accused of degrading women's dignity and insulting Kannada culture, lacking age-related warnings.
Supporters argue that actors evolve and need to meet the demands of their roles.
The Karnataka State Women’s Commission has written to the CBFC seeking appropriate action.
