Samsung India Profit Drops 36 Percent Despite Revenue Growth

Samsung India made less profit in FY26 than it did the year before.

Its profit fell by 36 per cent to Rs 7,228.10 crore.

However, the company’s sales increased slightly to about Rs 1.12 trillion.

Mobile phones were an important part of its business.

Samsung also sells televisions, tablets, appliances and computers.

The company faced strong competition from other electronics brands.

Reports also said it cut some jobs in its television and appliance businesses.

These changes were linked to higher operating costs, weaker customer demand and company restructuring.
