Maharashtra Board Waives Exam Fees in 265 Drought-Affected Talukas

Maharashtra Board Waives Exam Fees in 265 Drought-Affected Talukas

The Maharashtra education board will let some Class 10 and Class 12 students apply for exams without paying an exam fee.

The benefit is for students connected with 265 drought-affected talukas.

It applies to the SSC and HSC examinations.

Students can submit their applications online without paying the prescribed fee.

The waiver will continue until the board issues further orders.

The decision is meant to reduce financial pressure on families affected by drought.

The waiver follows a government resolution issued on September 25.

The 2027 HSC exams are planned for February 8 to March 16, and the SSC exams for February 15 to March 11.
