Hyderabad Police File FIRs Against 27 Ganesh Pandal Organisers
Police in Hyderabad have filed cases against organisers of 27 Ganesh mandapams.
They say the organisers allegedly broke rules about DJ sound systems during processions.
Police also spoke with 51 organisers about following the rules.
Officers seized 68 sound boxes and 21 amplifiers.
They said CCTV, drones and other technical evidence helped them take action.
Deputy Commissioner of Police Kiran Khare warned that people must follow the rules during religious festivals.
He said the rules would be enforced regardless of a person's religion.
