DMK Names Candidates For Three October 6 Assembly By-Elections
The DMK has chosen candidates for three upcoming by-elections.
Two of the elections are in Tamil Nadu, and one is in Puducherry.
The seats became empty for different reasons.
Two former AIADMK representatives resigned after moving to the TVK.
The Puducherry seat became vacant because Chief Minister N Rangasamy won from two constituencies.
The DMK selected I Paranthaman, S Sukanya and Sethu Selvan.
The AIADMK wants to win back the two Tamil Nadu seats.
The TVK may choose the same people who previously held those seats, but it has not announced its candidates yet.
