Delhi's Air Quality Remains Very Poor
Delhi's air quality is still very poor, with an AQI of 388.
This means the air is not healthy to breathe.
Some places, like Anand Vihar, have even worse air quality, reaching 460.
The main reasons for this pollution are cars, factories, and construction work.
The weather is also making it worse because there isn't enough wind to blow the pollution away.
It's also very foggy, which makes it hard to see.
The weather people say it might rain a little on New Year's Day, which could help a bit.
But for now, the air quality is expected to stay bad for the next few days.
Delhi's AQI improved slightly to 388, still in the 'very poor' category.
Dense fog reduced visibility to around 100-300 meters in the morning.
Transport and industries are the biggest contributors to air pollution.
AQI is expected to be 'severe' on December 31 and January 1.
Light rain is forecasted for New Year's Day, which may help improve air quality.
