Blinkit Drives Eternal's Q1 Growth Amid Taxes and Investments

Blinkit Drives Eternal's Q1 Growth Amid Taxes and Investments

Eternal Ltd, a company based in Gurugram, India, reported its results for the first quarter of the fiscal year 2027.

The company's revenue grew a lot, mainly because of its quick commerce business, Blinkit.

Blinkit's revenue increased more than six times compared to the same period last year, and it now makes up about 77.5% of Eternal's total revenue.

However, the company's net profit was lower than expected because of higher taxes and investments in new businesses.

Eternal is focusing on expanding its quick commerce business by adding more stores and offering a wider range of products.

The company is also investing in other areas like food delivery and a platform called District, which connects users to restaurants, movie screens, and other activities.

Despite competition from other companies like Swiggy and Zepto, Eternal is confident in its strategy and believes it can grow and improve profitability at the same time.
