IBM Qiskit Fall Fest Opens at Bhimavaram College
A three-day quantum computing event has started at Vishnu Institute of Technology in Bhimavaram.
IBM’s Dr Bhardwaj Mummaneni opened the programme.
Students will learn about IBM Quantum and a tool called Qiskit.
They will take part in lessons and practical activities.
Topics include quantum circuits, entanglement, communication and machine learning.
The college says the event will help students learn about new technology by doing practical work.
It also aims to encourage students to explore research and innovation in quantum computing.
Dr Bhardwaj Mummaneni, IBM’s Quantum Engagement Lead, inaugurated the 2026 IBM Qiskit Fall Fest at Vishnu Institute of Technology in Bhimavaram.
The three-day programme aims to give students hands-on exposure to IBM Quantum and Qiskit.
Sessions will cover quantum computing fundamentals, Qiskit programming, circuits and gates, entanglement, communication, machine learning and optimisation.
IBM’s Mummaneni discussed the growing importance of quantum computing and IBM initiatives in education, innovation and the field.
College Principal Dr Mangam Venu said the event was designed to familiarise students with emerging technologies through practical learning.
