India's Hypersonic Missile to Debut on Republic Day
India is going to show a new, super-fast missile called the Long-range Anti-Ship Hypersonic Glide Missile on Republic Day.
This missile can travel very fast and far, up to 1,500 kilometers, and it's hard for enemies to detect.
It can carry different things and hit ships in the ocean.
The missile is being made by a group called DRDO, and they are also working on even more advanced missiles that can go up to 3,500 kilometers.
This is a big deal because it shows that India can make its own powerful weapons.
There will also be other cool military equipment shown at the parade, and special guests are invited to watch.
India's Long-range Anti-Ship Hypersonic Glide Missile will debut at the 77th Republic Day Parade on January 26 at Kartavyapath, New Delhi.
The missile, developed by DRDO, has a range of 1,500 km and can travel at hypersonic speeds, making it difficult for enemy radars to detect.
It can carry different payloads and defeat warheads on ships deployed in the ocean, enhancing India's capabilities in the Indian Ocean region.
DRDO is also working on hypersonic glide missile and hypersonic cruise missile technologies with a range of 3,000 to 3,500 kilometers.
The parade will also showcase other military equipment like the Dhanush Gun System, Akash (L) Launcher, Suryastra Universal Rocket Launcher System, and Akash missiles.
