Students Solve 1991 Murder Case

Students Solve 1991 Murder Case

A long-unsolved murder case from 1991 has finally been cracked thanks to some clever students.

Cynthia Gonzalez, a 26-year-old woman, went missing and was later found dead with multiple gunshot wounds.

The police couldn't solve the case for a long time, but then some students from the University of Texas at Arlington decided to look into it.

They found out that a woman named Janie Perkins, who is now 63, had some suspicious things about her.

She failed a lie detector test, didn't have a good alibi, and even said some weird things about being happy that Cynthia was dead.

The police arrested Janie and charged her with murder.

It's amazing how these students helped solve a case that had been sitting unsolved for so many years!
