Adani Defence Develops IAF's Advanced AEW&C Platform
Adani Defence and DRDO have teamed up to build a high-tech airborne surveillance system for the Indian Air Force.
This system, called AEW&C-MKII, will help the Air Force see threats from far away and make quick decisions.
It's a big deal because it's the first time a private Indian company is leading such a complex defence project.
The system will be built on six modified Airbus A321 planes and will be supported for 30 years.
This makes India one of only a few countries with this advanced technology.
Adani Defence and DRDO signed an agreement to develop AEW&C-MKII for the IAF.
AEW&C-MKII will be built on six modified Airbus A321 aircraft.
The project includes 30 years of lifecycle support, maintenance, and technical assistance.
AEW&C-MKII will enhance the IAF's situational awareness and force coordination.
India will join a select group of countries with indigenous AEW&C capabilities.
