Dominican Republic Experiences Full Blackout After Grid Failure

Imagine all the lights in your entire country suddenly going out!

That’s what happened in the Dominican Republic.

Big power stations had problems, and it caused a huge blackout across the whole country.

This made it very hard for people to get around because trains and buses stopped working.

Many businesses had to close, and people had trouble getting home.

Hospitals used their backup power, but homes and small shops were dark.

The grown-ups in charge are working to fix it little by little, starting with important places like hospitals and transportation.

They are also trying to figure out exactly why the power went out to prevent it from happening again.
