Knowledge Habitat Schools Turn Teachers’ Day Into Lasting Tribute

Knowledge Habitat schools created a special Teachers’ Day activity called “Roots of Habitat.”

It took place at all three of the school’s campuses.

Students first saw a large tree with no leaves.

They chose teachers who had helped or encouraged them.

Then they wrote the teachers’ names and special memories on paper leaves.

As more students participated, the empty tree became full and colorful.

Teachers were touched when they read the messages.

Former students also shared memories about teachers who had influenced them after graduation.

The project showed how small acts of care can remain important for a long time.
